About ATAP

Australian Truck and Auto Parts is a privately owned Australian company.

Established in 1981 as a specialist auto parts remanufacturer in Fitzroy, Victoria. Its core business was brake shoe and industrial bonding and brake hose manufacturing.

During the 1990’s ATAP grew into a national brake and clutch wholesaler and opened its first interstate warehouse in Western Australia. This was followed by new branches in South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland. In the late 1990’s the Protex brand was launched.

Throughout the 2000’s ATAP has secured distributorship agreements with some of the worlds leaders in the automotive sector and has experienced a significant expansion of product range.

We currently import, manufacture, remanufacture and wholesale quality brake, clutch, suspension, cooling and service products for both passenger and commercial vehicles. We aim to be the recognised leader in the supply and delivery of our products. Our range is the most comprehensive and current available and will remain so through dedicated product development and global sourcing.

Our affiliation with some of the world’s largest manufacturers underpins our position as Australia’s largest undercar supplier. Our national distribution network ensures prompt and reliable delivery Australia wide.

ATAP employs in excess of 200 people Australia wide. We have warehouse/sales operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth and are Quality Certified - ISO 9002. ATAP do not sell to the public.
