Brake Fluid

Brake Fluid is the life blood of the braking system.

Huge demand is placed on brake fluid especially by modern day vehicles. With the increase in ABS and brake related stability controls etc, the braking systems of vehicles fitted with such extras can generate temperatures up to 700C, causing the fluid to get as hot as 170C.

ATAP stocks quality brand brake fluids in various container sizes. Lucas and Protex brake fluids are premium grade 3 Dot 4 fluids which are designed to handle both older and modern day vehicles.

Lucas fluids are available in 250ml, 500ml, 1litre and 5 litre containers as general application fluid and in a 1 litre bottle in Racing Brake Fluid for those of us who really get our brakes hot. Also available in the Lucas range is Dot 3 fluid which is now required by some late model Japanese manufactured vehicles.

Protex Brake Fluid is available in 500ml easy pour container and 20L drum which comes with an easy-pour, non-spill cap.
